To promote the release of 'Kubo and the Two Strings', an origami themed animated movie, we created a multi-channel campaign that brought Kubo’s fantastical stories to life in the real world: #KubosWorld. Out of home for example, we transformed everyday city objects into arresting Kubo-inspired origami sculptures, driving fans to see the movie in theatres.

DOOH

Interactive digital ads
Sound-activated digital OOH broadcasts rich, dynamic origami stories within custom digital movie posters. Featuring characters from the film, animations are triggered (and altered) by ambient sounds in the vicinity, or the user’s own vocalizations. The digital poster reacts to the volume and nature of the sound around it - morphing gorgeous origami figures into an exhilarating story, while enticing fans to watch the movie.
